Soldiers All

Soldiers All

In the tradition of Stephen Crane's Red Badge of Courage, but with a broader sweep of time and events, Soldiers All carries the viewer from the exciting, early days of the conflict, to the grim, day-to-day battles in the trenches, and the poignant scenes of the veteran-reunions. It is the complete story of the men who fought the war, fellow Americans we can come to know through the dramatic presentation we call Soldiers All. This production was filmed in high definition at Fort Pickett, Virginia, with the cooperation and help of the U. S. Army and the Virginia National Guard. Over 150 yards of trenches were erected for the late-war fighting scenes - field fortifications that one historian called "the best Civil War-era earthworks I ever saw". Soldiers All is a dramatic, theatrical production, but with all of the educational value of a major documentary presentation.
